Sukhothai was kind of an afterthought because we had some time to kill before meeting friends in Cambodia. We stayed at a nice place with a helpful owner called “At Home Guesthouse.” Sukhothai was the capital of Thailand hundreds of years ago so there is a Historical Park there with some decent temples. The pricing system they use is ridiculous but it is well kept.
We’d probably suggest that people pass on this town if they’ve already seen Angkor Wat because the temples were OK but less grand.
